Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was Very happy when I got the transfer. I was sick at the time the money was transferred to my account. I had to send a relative to collect my transfer because it came at the time I needed it.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily since I started receiving the transfer is that, I am able to feed my family and mostly two to three times a day. I am very grateful.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have bought fertilizer and farm spray and other farm inputs Which will help me yield More harvest., I have also bought 15 iron sheets which i will use for building my house. I have also topped up with 5 Bags of maize so that i have enough food.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The money will help alot in buying food for the house, paying school fees for my child and also I will use the money to build a good house. I am not able to do all the things I have mentioned because I do not have enough money, I depend on casual labour to provide for the family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the past 6 months I was happy during the initiation ceremony of my younger sister. I was happy because it was a celebration that my sister has been counselled. There was alot of food and people danced this made me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenge that I am facing currently is lack of money to buy food for the family. have 4 children and one is in secondary school which means I have to pay school fees for the child and with the money that I earn it's hard
