Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Life is easy now as I have less burden due to the transfers I receive from Give Directly. My family can now afford to eat well and even dress better.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Give Directly has given me honor in the society as I own a beautiful home as I was able to extend my house through the transfers I receive. I do not see anything that Give Directly has done wrong.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my transfer to buy building materials to extend my house which could not accommodate my large family. I also bought a cow for rearing to sell later.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of money to pay school fees for my son and two daughters who are in primary schools. If I am unable to raise the required amounts they may have to drop out of school and this will affect them psychologically.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening after finishing all my daily chores. I get to relax as I listen to music playing on my radio and this makes me very happy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I can finally start a small grocery for my wife. This will enable her have a source of income and become self reliant instead of depending on my meagre salary which is hardly enough to cater for my family's basic needs.
