How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that debts were heavy burden to me alot in the past but from the time I received the transfer I'm living debt free and now even able to build a commercial house which will generate income for my family in the near future .
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give directly has done well in giving out cash transfers that have helped us to sort out alot of problems that disturbed us in the past. On theother hand, Gd has done nothing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for buying building materials for the commercial house I'm going to build and I have saved the balance for commencing it's construction.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I can now afford different dietary meals, meet medical bills for my family members and above all, there is less stress on paying tuition for my children.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received my first transfer, I was filled with joy, that was the moment I started planning how to spend our money with my spouse.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfers, I used 1,000,000ugx for paying off the mortgage amount that I had borrowed for paying tuition for my children for the previous terms since I had given an acre of farm land as security. I paid tuition for the current term worth 300,000ugx since we value education for our children, the balance of 400,000ugx, I have started a small business of buying and selling charcoal/firewood which gives me some daily profit that I use for feeding my family, meeting medical bills and other school requirements.
