How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, life is different from how it was four months ago in that I cannot walk for long distances after having been operated due to the accident a got and broke my led. This has really affected my life both socially and economically. I lost my business and I have to start again from scratch, but I thank Give Directly I have the capital to start a business from my Give Directly transfers. This is the major source of my livelihood because now that I have no any financial income from anyone. As much as I am abit unwell I have to look for something to earn a living.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new or additional goals for my life for the next four-month is to boost my small shop business. I have been doing the above business since I got married, it collapsed when I was unwell and I was admitted thus most of the goods got spoilt because there was no one to pick up with the business. I have to think twice now that I can not go to the farm and also walk for long-distance, I thought of reviving it since this my major source of income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I been using part of my transfer on paying for my medical bill when I broke my leg. I want to thank Give Directly for having given me money to use the way I have mentioned above. It was in the month of August I broke my leg when I was mopping, I did expect it was that serious until I was rushed to the hospital when the doctors detected that my leg was broken and they had to support it with two titanium plate which was very expensive since I had to go through surgery. I am now recovery though I still have a huge hospital bill that I am still paying in bits as we had agreed with the doctors. I hope full that I will soon manage to finish paying the hospital bill.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I am planning to buy more stock and revive my small shop business. I think it will still do well as before because there is no shop around. I prefer the shop business too because it does not require a lot of also toll prefer shop business because it is easy to manage and it does not involve a lot of movements that will interfere with me health-wise.

My life is currently different in that, I used to run the shop but there was no difference or any noticeable growth. This was because the profit earned went directly to household use. I got a leg fracture one year ago and this needed monthly physiotherapy my family members and neighbours who I thought would support me declined and resorted to mind their own business. Its been a trying moment for me but GiveDirectly has given me a shoulder to lean on. Therefore the biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to access medical services with ease without bothering anyone though I have to go and fetch money through my small business using a stick to support me while walking to the nearby market. I am hopeful there will come a time that I will walk again.
