In the next four months, I wish to buy a cow. I would also want to have any investment which reproduces faster, easy to take care of and the value increases faster. The only investment I thought of is a cow.

I joined Once Acre Fund Organization tow years ago where they give us hybrid seeds and fertilizer at the beginning of every planting season. When we harvest, we have to pay back either through part of our harvest or money. I am glad that I have been paying back the debt before time through the monthly transfers I get from GD. I would not have managed to pay back in time as I always do with the transfers on my own. As a result of this, I have a good credit reference with the organization and I am always among the first to be served. Thanks to GD for giving me a good name.

In the next six months, I will have managed to buy the cow. I plan to save most of my transfers so that I can be able to get the cow I have always wanted. Livestock is one of the signs of wealth in my community and I would not want to be left behind after this life-changing opportunity. I would want to have the best just like my neighbours. When the cow reproduces, I will have a number which I can also sell to raise money for other family emergencies such as school fees, medication and other that may I arise.

Recently, I was able to get a good harvest from my farm and all thanks go to GD. Through the transfers, I was able to purchase the required quality farm materials on time which resulted in a good yield. In addition to that, I have been able to meet most of the family's needs without having to sell either my poultry or farm produce.

For the next four months of my life, I have an additional goal to save some money in our Merry-Go-Round group so that I can later use it to purchase decent seats. This will save me the shame of borrowing seats from neighbors whenever I have visitors.

The last four months I was mainly engaged in farming activities and I'm glad through the GD transfers I was able to purchase all the required quality farm materials on time. This resulted in an improved harvest as compared to the previous seasons thus I'm assured of enough food for the family for the whole year.

In the next six months, I expect to have saved enough money to purchase enough decent seats for my family. Currently, I only have one seat which barely fits my large family thus my children are forced to sit on the ground. Thereafter, I'll save some money so that I can add more utensils to the few that I have currently.

My life is currently different from the way it would have been had I not received the money from GD in that if it wasn't for GD, I doubt if by now I would have cleared the weed on my farm. I had worked on other people's farm to raise money to meet my family needs to an extent I forgot to work on mine. The weeds were the same height as my crops and this was affecting their growth. I knew if I do not act fast, my harvest will be affected too. When I received the transfer, I hired some laborers to help in weeding and am very happy my crops are doing well now because I am done weeding the farm.

We appreciate the money GD gives us monthly but we feel if we can save it and raise a bigger amount of money, we can then achieve a big goal. For the next four months of my life, I have a plan to start saving in a Merry-go-round so that when I get my share, I'll use it to construct a kitchen because the one I have now is almost falling. I plan to construct a much bigger one to cater for my children's sleeping place.

Life has become so easy and less stressful in the last four months preceding the current transfer. This is because I no longer face difficulty in raising money to meet the family's needs neither do I rely on my spouse for everything unlike before the transfers. All thanks to GD for having made life easier for me. This has also lead to a good relationship between my spouse and I. We no longer have the little quarrels we used to have because of our finances. We do have enough to cater for our needs and there is a lot of peace in my family.

In the next six months of my life, I expect to have earned my share from the Merry-go-Round group and by then I expect to have constructed a kitchen which is my biggest concern now.

My life is different in that I have hired workers to assist me in cultivating my farm, as a result, have been able to cultivate a bigger parcel of land unlike before when I used to cultivate by hand. Therefore, I am certain of enough yields at the end of this harvest to feed my family.

I have no new goal because my desire is to build a shelter of my own that would enable me to house my family comfortably. At the moment we are borrowing a place to sleep which makes me uncomfortable.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four month is that I have gotten ease in accomplishing my dream of building my traditional house since I have managed to buy some of the building material. I believe this will insist dependence on me unlike before when I was a bother to my neighbours whom I could ask for a place to sleep. This was so inconveniencing to them.

I expect in the next six months to have renovated my house and through this, I will be able to live a healthier life with no stress which I used to have of borrowing a sleeping place to my family members especially my children.

I now have enough food as a result of using modern fertilizer that I have been using in my farming expeditions.

I plan to erect a new building for myself because the house I live in today is in such a dilapidated state.

I have been able to buy enough fertilizer for farming which gives me a huge personal satisfaction. I have also been able to offset a huge chink of my debts I had accrued from the past.

My life will change because i will have cemented my house, something that I have always wanted to do but I have never managed due to lack of cash.

I am planning to build a nice kitchen for my family.

My life is currently different from how it would have been had I never received the transfer in that I expect an income every month hence I no longer worry about how to eat any more.

In the next six months I expect to have improved my farming, I will apply the use of fertilizer to increase my produce.

The biggest difference in my day to day life since I started receiving payments from Give Directly is that I no longer have debts and I am able to farm comfortably.
