How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My standards of living have improved since I benefited from GD for example, I managed to build a iron roofed house awaiting door installation and I move in. My feeding has also been enhanced my GD transfers in that we can have a well balanced diet which improved our health. In addition to that, I have bought livestock like goats which in future I can exchange oxen when they have increased in number. In the past, I slept in a ramshackle grass thatched hut which could leak so badly damaging my property and affected our sleep when rain falls. Secondly we had a poor feeding habit whereby we could eat porridge for lunch then have a modest meal in the evening for supper.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I do believe GD did so well to improve people's standards of living especially those living in extreme poverty. For example people in community could not afford to construct houses, acquire land, livestock, take their children to school among others. According to me I didn't see anything wrong done by GD.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second on buying livestock, I mortgaged some for a piece of land and household items plus feeding.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means buying an acre of farm land in order to cultivate crops for household consumption. Building a permanent house is another priority for my family because grass has become expensive and difficult to even get.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happy after I have seen that my family has had atleast a meal. Feeding is a challenge but after eating, we now relux and start discussing family programs for the next day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest challenge is inadequate farm land for crop cultivation which has rendered my home food insecure. I own only two pieces of farm land which can not sustain my household.
