Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
This money has brought a big change in my life, I had wished to get I cow that will produce for me milk and it has indeed come to pass. My children now sleep on a good mattress unlike before when they slept on the floor. Above all I got the phone from GiveDirectly which connects me to many people and I am happy for it.

I spent my first transfer for buying a cow at UGX 900,000, a mattress and kitchen utensils. I have saved UGX 300,000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My family pure lives and depends on farming as main income generating activity but I lack oxen for ploughing. Therefore receiving this money means that I will spend on purchasing oxen and ox-plough. I have been all seasons hiring oxen , however once I buy mine. This will facilitate easy cultivation process which is always engine of planting. My family will be in position to produce enough food stuff that can cater for our needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moments is in afternoon hours. It's the only time I relax after engaging the whole day doing garden and some domestic work. This normally gives me time of togetherness with my family members.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack an income generatiing activity. My family relies on farming alone as basic source. This is not very profitable due to the nuture of rain partners. Iam not able to produce enough from farming, hence I can not fulfill the needs of my children like good feeding and health.
