How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I am glad that providing a daily balanced diet for my kids is no longer a [problem for me. As a basic human need, I always have to make sure that my children have something to eat everyday.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I would love to buy new iron sheets and use them to erect another roof because the current roof leaks a lot during the rainy season. In most cases, I am always forced to move my bed to different positions where there is no leaking spot. It is not such a nice experience but then I am forced to persevere because that is the life I can live at this moment.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I had longed to have an executive tiled floor but what had stopped me all along was the lack of cash. However, when I got the cash transfers from GD everything changed and I eventually managed to have what my heart desired for such a long time. Today I am so proud of living in such a nice house where I feel so nice welcoming visitors without getting embarrassed about an old and damaged floor with patches everywhere.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I plan to erect a new structure for my birds since I have been keeping the chicken in a small area where I personally feel that they are congested, so even increasing the size of the brood becomes a challenge.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My floor was very dusty before because it had not been plastered. This really affected my family's health as we constantly suffered from cold/flu,but after receiving the money,I tiled my floor which has brought a great difference.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to be living in a better house than I am now because I intend to use the transfers to finish and paint my house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The money helped me in purchasing materials that were used in tiling my house, especially the floor.I would not have raised the money for all these if it were not for GD.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I would like to fence my compound for security purposes then finish my house so that I can live in a secure and smart environment.

The biggest hardship I am facing is caring for a child who's suffering from sickle cell anemia. I oftenly panic so severely whenever she is attacked, I hope that one day she'll get over the condition.

The happiest part of my day is in the morning having rested through the night, waking up to see bright smile on my daughter's face makes me even happier.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer to improve my house to a standard state, I'll also fence my compound to keep away intruders.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is single handedly educating all my children. I'm glad that they're currently starting to live a good independent life.
