Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I would want to use my transfers on savings. I plan to use the savings in putting up a decent house back at home by buying building materials. I want to save until I have the amount of money needed to buy the required materials for putting up a house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have never lacked what to eat in the house. This was a real problem in my family because of my low income from casual work which has been my main source of income. Since there were many other family needs, we would occasionally sacrifice meals so as to meet other needs. Ever since I started receiving my transfers from GD, I have been buying food on a monthly basis which has really reduced my daily expenditures and ensured even when I do not have money, we always have food in the house.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will be different in the next six months in that I will no longer be staying in a rental house. I want to use my next series of transfers on savings with a plan of buying building materials such as iron sheets, timber and nails for putting up a house. Currently, I am staying in a rental house and I feel life is much expensive especially on paying rent every month. I feel it is time I have my own house and use the money for paying rent on other family needs.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal of making sure that I do the final finishings on my house which I recently constructed just within the boundaries of this same village. I will have to make sure I buy building materials such as timber and enough cement in order to make the process become a reality.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference I would say I have seen in my daily life is the ease I have been taking care of the food expenditures within the household considering that I recently got married and the expenditures ballooned immediately I did that.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
There are enough changes I have seen from what I have been doing using the transfers and I still expect more changes. For instance, I want to make sure I save enough money within the next six months so that by the time my wife is done with exclusive breastfeeding of the baby, I start up a small scale business for her so that she can also have her source of getting an income.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I can pay rent on time even if I don't get my salary in time. I have always used it to pay school fees for my children who are never sent away from school anymore. My family can afford to eat healthy food as we can buy food easily too.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal of saving and starting up a business for my wife to help her be more independent and also help in raising income for the family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to pay school fees for my children in time. The children now have ample time studying as they do not spend half their time at home waiting for me to raise money to pay their outstanding fee balances. I cannot Thank GiveDirectly enough for enabling me to pay the fees in time without having to work twice as much to raise the money.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I shall have started up a business for my wife and now she will have gained her independence and stopped depending so much on me to take care of every financial need in our home. The transfers will also help in taking care of my newborn as we are expecting a child.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
There are many things I did with these transfers like buying household items, paying school fees for my children and, buying food every single day. I have peace of mind as my family gets to live in some comfort. Previously, I would work twice as much to earn just a little income for the family. We could go without food for some days and my children would stay out of school due to lack of money to pay school fees for them.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I would wish to save more so that I can buy a cupboard to store my utensils.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life right now is that I get to receive money even before my salary is paid. I sometimes receive my salary very late which might interfere with our day to day family operations. I get relief when I revceive a message from GiveDirectly indicating my transfer has been sent. I have been saving the transfers in a merry-go-round which I used to buy household items i.e seats, a bed and a mattress. I sleep in a peaceful and comfortable place and I have a well-furnished home too.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I am currently renting a house in the centre. I do not have a house and I would wish to buy building materials and build a new house. I see this come to pass by saving the transfers ina merry-go-round towards buying building materials that I will use to build a new house for my family.
