How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different now in that, I'm so happy because I have built a permanent house. I can feed my family with ease since the money is there. Before I got the money, I used to suffer a lot during rainy season because the house I was occupying used to leak. Feeding was also difficult since there wasn't enough food and money to feed the houaehold.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD did so well send transfers which has helped me construct a house. I did not have any source of income which I could have used for building. GD delivers what they promise, I received unconditional cash from GD that I never hoped to have received. However I don't see anything wrong with GD because what they promised us is what we received.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer on build a new house since the one I'm currently occupying is cracked and can collapse anytime. I was so delighted when I received the transfer because deep down my heart I knew that I was going to use it for construction.
