Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Receiving this money meant alot of things for me. I have been struggling in my life in so many ways and this money made me happy. I was very thankful.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my house is that I am now able to provide for in my family. Before the transfer,it used to be a struggle.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was sleeping on a mat on the floor, therefore i have bought a bed ,mattress and blankets to be sleeping comfortably. My house was grass thatched as such I have bought iron sheets to replace the grass. I have also bought bags of Maize in my house since there was no food.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am filled with so much joy and gladness about the program and receiving this money will help me buy some fertilizers for the next growing season so that I harvest enough food next growing season and again I intend to buy some iron sheets and put up a nice roof since the one I currently live in is small and grass thatched and it badly leaks during heavy rain making it very uncomfortable to stay in it during that time of the year
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest whenever I can afford to feed and provide for my household since I don't have a stable source of income as I rely on casual labour
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I most rely on casual labour for survival but then it doesn't fetch enough money to allow me feed and provide for my household since I have a huge family
