Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I've always wanted to build my own house and also become a bona fide member of an investment club in Logan Town. On the contrary, I couldn't fulfill any of my ambitions because of very low income. Meanwhile, during the early morning hours while I was still in my bedroom in Logan Town, I received my transfer from GiveDirectly. I was highly pleased knowing that with this transfer I could buy building materials (3 bundles of zinc, nails, cement etc..) to build a four(4) bedroom house. In addition, I could also settle all of my debts and pay my club money which I couldn't raise in time due to limited finances.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I've received my first transfer from GiveDirectly is that, I am financially equipped and capable in achieving two of my greatest desires. These include: building a new four bedroom house and also becoming a bona fide member of an investment club within Logan Town. With these achievements, I'll feel very much relaxed and relieved from too much stress.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Most of my transfer will be used to purchase building materials for my four (4) bed room apartment. I will buy three bundles of zinc for $27,300LD. Furthermore, portion of the money will be used to buy few packs of nails and 4 bags of cement ($5,600LD) to plaster my house. I am so delighted about this transfer from GiveDirectly that has changed my life for good.
