How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now better.With this money from Givedirectly, i was able to used my first and second transfer to buy Zinc and nails to build my house.I have not developed a new goal because my old house is leaking and the raining season is getting closer. I bought additional construction materials to build the house faster. Thanks to Givedirectly for giving me money.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My dream is to build a new house for myself. My wife and I stays in her mother house which i feel uncomfortable about it. I have been worried about money to build a house, i earn less from the farm i made. I have been financially depressed my children hardly eat twice a day. I want to build a shop in the future in remembrance of Givedirectly so that the money can multiply and stay with me

Givedirectly is doing good for me. Through Givedirectly, am able to build a house for my family. Givedirectly has make a great impact in my life. By end of this program i know that my life will definitely change. My prayer is for God to bless the donors and the staff's of Givedirectly.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I went to the network spot to make a call when I received an alert that I have received forty thousand three hundred seventy five dollars from GiveDirectly. I was really happy when I received the money because since I been making farm and cutting palm, I have not seen this amount of money yet. When I got home I told my family that I have received the money and will be going to cash it out at my less busy time.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started recieving payments from GiveDirectly is that I am now able to pay my children's school fees, and I am also able to buy materials that I can use to improve my house to the level I desire.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I received the cash transfer, I will buy my zinc and build my house because my family and I currently live in a mud house with thatch roof.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What brought me joy in recent times was when I produced a quantity of palm oil that we have never produced such before. I sold it and used the money to extand my cocoa farm.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest challenge now is financial difficulty; which has made my children to not enter school. I have not had money to pay their fees or enroll them in school. Our first child is thirteen years ago and had never entered school because of financial constraints.
