How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different now because i sleep on a mattress and cover myself with blankets. i used to sleep on a piece of paper and cover myself with a small cloth. sometimes my children could sleep on a bare floor without anything to cover themselves with. when i received my transfers i bought mattresses and blankets, we are sleeping comfortably now. thank you Give Directly.

i feel like everything is done well i cant identify anything that was not done well

When i received my second transfer i bought iron sheets as am planning to build a house soon after the rainy season. the other amount was used to buy fertilizer, food, blankets and other basic needs.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money will help me quite alot because it will change my life. I have been facing alot of challenges in my life. Imagine iam over 70 years old but I still go to the farm In order to earn a living. This cash from GiveDirectly has come at the right time for me. Iam so excited with the cash and I look forward to receiving this cash. Thank you GD. I will spend it on food and other basic necessities.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam happiest in the evening because it is when I go to sleep and I temporarily forget my hardships.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I usually struggle to find food as iam an old person. I have no ability and capacity to feed myself and the grandchildren. We usually eat less food as a result.
