Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My goal for the next four months is to buy a piece of land. We will pool our savings as a family and use it to achieve this. We will plant livestock feeds on this land so that our livestock will have feeds throughout the year.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that we have been able to start a poultry keeping project as a family. Starting this project has enabled me to be of use to my family. This is because I can easily sell some eggs and use the money to cater to some of our needs hence I no longer depend on my spouse to provide us with everything we need.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, my life will have changed in that, we will have bought a piece of land as a family. Also, I am optimistic that I will have planted some nappier grass on this farm. Due to this, my livestock will have enough feeds throughout the year hence milk supply to my customers will remain constant. I will be using the income from the dairy project to pay school fees for my children.

My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in My children have a better place to sleep and do their assignment on time with any destruction. It's amazing looking at this house which feels like a dream to me and imaging the relief of no longer sleep in a leaking house adds the explainable joy that I feel. I above all I am grateful to GiveDirectly for the outstanding change in my living standards it has brought.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Before GiveDirectly came, we use to live in a small grass thatched house that could accommodate us comfortably. Sometimes, my children could sleep at their grandmother house which made me develop the fear of their safety while they pass through the darkest risky bushes. The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have been able to build a decent spacious house for my family which I have always desired but the prohibiting factor was lack of money to foresee this dream
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I currently live comfortably in a pleasing and good house. It has always been hard and uncomfortable living in an old, worn out house. The condition of our house had forced us to seek for a refuge in our parents home whenever it rains since we could be rained on. My children faced a lot of challenges out of this and they were prone to illness during such rainy seasons. I had felt so uncomfortable and stressful for my suffering family but when the transfers came I renovated my house and it currently looks good . I am comfortable to live in. I also currently find courage and confidence in welcoming anyone to my home.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have a new goal for my life in the next four months but I wish to continue with the merry go round saving plan.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the last four months, I have been living a happier life than before. Since we started receiving monthly transfers from GiveDirectly, we came up with a merry go round group of twenty members. It was a nice idea for us to save our monthly transfer through this group where one is supposed to contribute an amount of two thousand shillings each month. I am a mother of a young and fast growing family. My family basic needs have always been so pressing to me since I am jobless and I rely on low, irregular casual jobs. I have always struggled to meet my family needs but it has been too costly for me hence I most of the time left with no chance to provide for my family. I have always wished to have my own cow for long but the little resource has given me a chance to have one. It was until my turn came, when-when my dreams turned to be real. I received forty thousand from merry go round group and I took some amount to go buy a dairy cow. I am currently milking my cow, I have enough for my family and still, I can sell some to get an income. I truly happy that at long last I have an asset that is growing each day. It has given me a hope of facing the future family needs confidently.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months , I expect my life to be living happily in that will have completed the first lap of merry go round and I expect to continue with it with an aim of saving money for buying a piece of land which has always been my goal.
