How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different. I never thought I would ever receive such a big amount of money in my life. I never thought i would ever build my own house and sleep comfortably in it.

GiveDirectly does well by reminding us all the time about how important it is to keep our Airtel Money security pins safe. It also does well by giving us money to buy our needs

I was very thankful and grateful. Give Directly has done something which we never saw coming.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am really grateful for this program. I have been desiring to have a good house. Now i will mould bricks, buy iron sheeets and build a nice house. I have also been desiring to have a better sleeping place. This is my chance to buy new beddings and mattress inclusive so that i can sleep comfortably.
The money will also aid me to buy a radio, a bicycle and enough food for my household.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy when i have money. Money is a solution to many problems.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship has been money to build a house and own nice beddings.
