Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I plan to buy a heifer. I will be saving the money in a mobile money account. I will then buy a cow to rear for future milk supply. I know that this will be an income-earning opportunity as well as a source for milk for household consumption.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the completion of a house in my father's compound. I started building a house using the money I receive to buy roofing sheets. This will house my family . I am glad that this house is complete and has improved my home.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will be sure to have increased my financial ability because I will be owning a heifer. I wish to own a dairy cow and this is the reason why I will be starting on this venture. Having a heifer will be a huge step towards the goal.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My plan in life at the moment is to buy a dairy cow for rearing. I have decided on this since I will later use some of it to pay my dowry after it reproduces and increase in number. I am intending to save my next transfers so that I will use it to achieve this.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to buy some iron sheets that I am intending to use in building a spacious house for my parents. This was just but a dream four months ago and I am optimistic that I will start the building process soon. I decided on this since I have always wished for the best for my parents. I am intending to build for them a more decent and permanent house that will be easier for my mother to clean it.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, my life will have changed in that I will have saved some money towards achieving my dream of buying a dairy cow. I am intending to be saving my next transfers through mobile banking. Having a dairy cow is an assurance to me that paying my dowry will not be a problem for me when I eventually decide to marry. Also, I believe that I will have completed building a more permanent house for my parents. Cleaning of this house will have been made easier and less time-consuming.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Buying building materials was the biggest task that I had. Since my house was even bigger I needed to work extra hard to get the required materials. The casual jobs were not enough to cater for my family's daily needs and still complete the construction process. Without GiveDirectly I would not have gotten money to buy the materials needed. I have a complete plan of how I will execute this process since I now have enough resources.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My goal is to complete my house. I have taken long to finish it and my neighbors have started laughing and making fun of me. I had at some point felt overwhelmed and was almost giving up on finishing the house because I couldn't afford to buy the necessary materials to help me finish the construction process. I am now happy because Give Directly gave me hope. I believe I will even have a better finishing than I had planned.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life ever since Give Directly came into my life is that I am happy and healthier compared to when I only depended on manual jobs. I am now able to afford to buy balanced diet meals for my family. I also feel good of importance because I am able to contribute to my family's daily needs. Apart from that we also dress well and look gorgeous. Generally, our welfare and well being has improved because of the help we received from Give Directly.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the six months, I expect to have completed my house. I will have also bought a cow. With these two achievements, I will be able to face life even after Give Directly have stopped sending us the transfers. I thank them very much and I always pray for them. Indeed there is no such an organization like Give Directly, no one would have helped me that much, not even my relatives could have thought of assisting me.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago. Several things have changed and more are changing as we go along. I never had a reliable source of income but now I have secured a job in the nearby school. In addition to that, GiveDirectly transfer has enabled me to start poultry farming which is currently doing well. The production from the chicken project is enough for my upkeep and even to save the surplus for the other upcoming projects. All these changes came into my life not so long ago and I am still working hard to see that I expand the project so that I may increase productivity.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have been living with my parents since I was young to date. I am now a grown up and there is a big need to construct and move into the new house before long. I have never had a chance to construct my own house since I have never had a reliable source of finance to use in putting up a new structure. Since I started receiving the transfers from GD I started a saving scheme which is doing well at the moment. I also got a job to teach in the nearby secondary school and part of the salary has been going to that saving scheme. All this is due to the new goal I have to construct my own house in our household. I have started sourcing the construction materials and soon I will be starting the construction. I thank GiveDirectly for bringing this project to our village. I am hopeful that this project will go well now that I am set to continue receiving the money in the coming months.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
After depending on my small piece of land for a long time, GiveDirectly came to our village to rejuvenate our projects. I have made several developmental steps since I started receiving the transfers. The biggest difference in my daily life is the establishment of poultry farming in our household. I started small and now I have a total of 35 chickens each able to lay an egg every day. This has changed almost everything in our household. We are now able to purchase all the household items whenever there is a deficiency by selling the eggs and using the money in replenishing them. we are really glad that this project came to our village, we appreciate the effort GiveDirectly puts to see that every recipient receives the transfer every month without skipping a month.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
As per my projections, I hope to see myself completing the construction of my new house comes December. I hope to be moving into my new house then since I am now grown enough to move out of my parents' house as per our culture. This will give way for other coming projects to be started which will indeed change my family lifestyle.

four months ago I was still in school and the transfers really meant a lot to me since it helped me offset some of the expenses and I am really grateful to GD. right now I am much better since I am employed and the tranfers help me with the table banking.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
in the next four months, I am planning to build myself a permanent house. I have been in some table banking with my 15 neighbors where we contribute KES 1500 of the transfers by the fourth month I will be having my share from the group, together with that month's salary it will help me offset building costs for the construction of my house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
four months ago I was a student at a medical training institute where at that point in time the transfers helped me pay part of my bills that included rent, shopping, and other academic costs. When I completed my studies the transfers helped me in finding the job I am in today since I used the transfers to drop my resumes around and even helped me as far as relocation to this place is concerned.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
in the next six months hopefully, I would have already build a new house and the transfers really contributed a lot on this. I then plan on the sixth month to get married and start my own family something that I have really dreamt of. From there I focus on building a family.
