Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is having fully completed building, beautifying my house and now sleeping in it comfortably as compared to before when my house was just a shelter. It had no proper door, not plastered, cemented, and no out side shade. In addition to this, is the improved standard of living in my house given the items (mattress, a TV set, a solar system, a zuku TV decoder) I have bought. Prior to receiving this money, I used to admire people who had such items and felt bad when my children ans I at times would go to their homes to watch TV.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received this transfer, I felt so happy being among the beneficiaries of this project.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer Ugx 1000000 to buy some building materials such as two trips of sand, timber, eight bags of cement, seven pieces of iron sheets for the shade, a door, iron bars and paying up labor that helped in completing to build my house. I then bought some house hold items such as mattress, a TV set, a solar system, a zuku TV decoder. I lastly spent the balance of Ugx 200000 to shop and take back my children to school.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will be in position to start a better profitable business. Iam currently selling fried cassava for a living but the interests from it are low. This can not support the necessary requirements in my home. I plan to start selling clothes such that I can realise better interests. My family will be well placed to buy other things like land from this interests for farming purposes.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moments is always in afternoon. I share business ideas with my friends and it has given hope , ways of managing my family affairs.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of money for educating my two children at Amus primary school. They are sent home or they come with letters demanding fees ,yet it will find that I donot have a solution. This is affecting their academic progress.
