Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I am very happy that I paid school fees and my children are studying. I have also added on the house construction which had stalled for long. I feel satisfied that GiveDirectly fulfilled its promise.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I read the message early in the morning. I remember it was around 05:41am when I received that message. I felt very happy because it was not my expectation.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent UGX730000 on school fees and UGX120000 on purchasing a wheel barrow. I bought cement worth UGX100000, stones worth UGX150000 , sand worth UGX120000 , columns worth UGX155000. The balance was spent on labour and other materials that I cannot recall.
