How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
To say the truth i have always wanted to build a nice decent house, and that is what i have done with the money that i have received from Givedirectly
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I believe most of the things that Givedirectly does are very good and effective.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With this money that i have received from Givedirectly i have used it to build a house, i have bought iron sheets, cement and i have also bought bags of maize because this year we did not harvest enough maize to take us through the year

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am so happy to have been enrolled into the GD program and I believe that this money will help me build a new house and put up a nice roof as the one I have is grass thatched and it badly leaks during heavy rains which makes my living in the house very uncomfortable.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest today because I have been enrolled into this program and I believe that my life will transform for the better because of this program
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am starving and do not have enough food because last year I didn't grow and harvest enough food due to lack of money for fertilizers which affected my maize yields
