How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Had I not received the cash transfer, I would be miserable with no future plans. However I am happy because my life is now different in that I was able to construct a four roomed commercial house that will generate income for my household when completed.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly does well to send cash transfers to the people that have changed very many lives. GiveDirectly also does well to sensitize the people on how to be responsible. On the other hand there is nothing that GiveDirectly has not done well.

I spent my second transfer to purchase iron sheets worth UGX560,000 and timber worth UGX300,000. I spent UGX450,000 to pay the builders and I purchased cement worth UGX140,000. I spent UGX100,000 on paying my children's school fees and food worth UGX80,000.
