What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have difficulties paying my children school fees. My husband is not working; it's only farming we do before we get money to buy clothes, pay school fees and send our children to hospital whenever they are sick. I dropped from school, because my parents couldn't continue the support. I have been in this town since 1990living happy with my husband. Even though he is not working now, I have a plan that I want to under take. I want to see all of my children educated and build a house to leave with them when I am gone.So when I received the money these are the things I want to do.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The most happiest news of tjis visit is that the money I am to get will be managed by myself and not the NGO. Also I am not to pay back this money. Even to get on the program is free ; that is a joyful thing to see and hear. Now I can say my house is on the way to be built.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I don't have money to send all of my children to school equally and at the same time build a house. Considering the fact that my husband is not working and only the farm we are living on; the little ones are in school by the little I am getting from the harvest. We had a shop, in 2018 this shop broke down and it cause serious financial setback. Things got tough on us .We've been trying to get back on our feet but nothing seems working. This money we are talking about today, if I get some I will go straight to clear my school fees debts and start the building project.
