How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I am now happy and decent. My family dresses well and we sleep on comfortable beds. I own property that I never dreamt I would own in my life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give directly does well by giving people money which has uplifted them from poverty. However, there is nothing wrong that give Directly has not done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase a cow worth 750,000 ugx and a bicycle worth 250,000 ugx. I also spent 250,000 ugx on purchasing clothing and 150,000 ugx on medical bills and treatment. I have saved 200,000 ugx for other emergencies and the balance of the cash transfer was spent on buying food.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my accommodation has improved and everything I used to lack I was able to purchase with help of the transfer.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which i face is lack of enough money to buy cows for dowary.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I sell my goods and I get profit out of my sells, makes me very happy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is a mean of getting money to help my family to buy cattle for marriage in form of dowary.
