How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is so peaceful now because I was able to acquire a plot of land and property. This would have not been possible had I missed out on the cash transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly did well to give us cash transfers that have helped me alot. We did not have enough land and we were on tension since the land owner was threatening to chase us away. On the other hand I do not see anything that give Directly has not done well so far.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase two cows worth 1,000,000 ugx. I also bought a plot of land worth 400,000 ugx and 100,000 ugx was spent on my spouse's medical bills. I also bought a solar panel and battery worth 100,000 ugx.
