How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have peace in the church, I topped up the money we raised as the church with the first transfer, to build the house of the Lord. We now fellowship in a good structure. The music instruments that we lacked as a church, has been bought using the second transfer. We are now able to preach the Gospel with mighty power. May God bless GiveDirectly as well as the donors.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has empowered our society economically, people have managed to possess things which to them were just but a dream. It has also taken care of corruption cases noticed in local administrators, anytime the development projects are in place. They always practice corruption in conducting their duties. The organization should make this as a routine to sustain the poor widows, unlike what is there now.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the transfer on music instruments of the church as well as public address system. As a pastor of Pentecostal church, our church was in need of the instruments for the church choir as well as public address system for preaching the Gospel.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means a lot to me. I will use it to help my wife expand her business. She sells cereals at the local market. This will help us to increase our income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I get to wake up and know that God has granted me good health and that I am still alive.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of a job that would get me better income. The job I do as a pastor does not provide me with much since it does not have a salary. I depend on people for good will. This therefore makes it hard for me to save money for the future.
