How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have been admiring my freinds who have good furniture in their houses, fridge and other household equipments. There was nothing i would do due to lack of funds. Now i have bought a fridge which i will be using in a business of selling cold drinks and water and improve my house all because of the transfer from GiveDirectly
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
To be frank GiveDirectly did well in all stages of the programme starting from the time it came in this village. The field officers were all helpful and approachable. Secondly the amount of aid is enough to help beneficiaries access all things they wanted in life
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my transfer on a fridge which i bought at MK150000 and improve my house

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my transfer I was filled with joy. I was so happy and grateful because I knew that the money would change my home. So many things that I was not able to buy because I did not have the money I am now able to buy. I was so happy knowing that my children will now have a comfortable place to sleep on and that we would have comfortable chairs to sit on.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I know have a changed happy home. I would always admire people's home when I see they have comfortable chairs to sit on when I did not. Now I have comfortable chairs too and I have bought lime to that I can finish fixing my house.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my first money transfer from GD on a sofa set. I also bought a new mattress and lime to fix my house. I bought a sofa set because my house did not have any sofas. I used to have small chairs where we used to sit on which was not very comfortable. I also managed to buy a new mattress and gave my old mattress to my child because she did not have a mattress. Now my child also has a comfortable place to sleep on.
