How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No,I do not have a new goal. My long time goal was to build to a new house in Monrovia for my children to be living in it attending school. I had the plan but there was no money in achieving my goal. I am a farmer and been sustaining me and my family through farming. Things have been so difficult in my life. Even to pay my children school used to be very challenging due to lack of income. However, with this wonderful opportunity provided me by GiveDirectly,I am going to build my house and sustain my children and myself. My children will also go to school in order to acquire quality education so that they won't be like me in the future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,GiveDirectly came and assisted us with unconditional cash to improve our lives. There was so much hard time on us. I am so pleased to have benefited from this unique program that has changed my life for good.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Building my house and sending my children school has been my major concerns. Therefore, when I received my recent transfer from GiveDirectly, I used it to purchase two bundles of zinc that cost ($ 22,000 LD) to be added to the previous ones that I bought from my previous transfers. I also used portion of my transfer to pay my children balance school.
