How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Many thanks to givedirectly for their support to was my family and me. I am so happy that I was enrolled on this program. Givedirectly has changed my life for the better. I am now improving my leaking thatched roof to iron sheets roof. Before the thatched roof on my house used to give us hard time, when rain is falling, my whole room will be water. Due to that my children some time get sick from cold. But I am grateful to God for this opportunity he has given me.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion givedirectly did very well in my life and that of my village. Givedirectly has changed my entire life. With the help from givedirectly I am now changing my leaking roof. There are so many New houses with in my village that I am proud of today. Givedirectly was able to enrolled almost the entire village. Givedirectly has done everything well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I withdraw my money I was able to buy three bundles of zinc to change my leaking thatched roof. I also bought enough food for my family to eat. I was able to paid the workmanship for the project. Many thanks to givedirectly for their support.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy when I received the money because i have always been living in thatched house. This money mean a whole lot to me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
All my life i have live in a thatched house which required so much work and discomforts. But we had no choice because i couldn't afford to purchase zinc. But Give Directly has put laughter on my family and i faces. Few months from now, we will be living in our own zinc house. Many thanks and appreciation to Give Directly.

I used the money and bought zinc for my new house construction.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"If I get this cash transfer I will build my house because I don't have anywhere decent to build my house and use the balance on my mother health, my mother have been ill for the past 6months and being the elderly child I have to take full responsibility of the hospital bills and I don't have such amount to undertake the cost."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"I have been grateful to God for the life of my mother thou she is not well but she's alive, when I taught I was going to loose her to death God kept her alive that alone brings me joy."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"My challenge now is the lack of funds to care for my mother health issues, i don't have a dime to take her to hospital so we are using herbs for her treatment."
