I spent all the money for building my permanent house

Givedirectly has done well in delivering us from poverty and according to me there is nothing givedirectly does bad.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Givedirectly has given me capital to start my own business that has become source of our daily income in the home; so am now self employed as compared to previous days when I didn't have capital.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first fransfer to stock millet and maize at 750,000Ugx, and 200,000Ugx respectively, Paid off the mortgage for garden at 600,000Ugx and the balance I used for buying clothings for my self and children.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my first I was very happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have got back my garden that I had mortgaged and I have a peice of mind.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i am facing in my life is the sickness of my husband. His sickness requires a lot of money for treatment and we have sold almost everything we owned. I am currently struggling to cater for all the needs of the family and paying medical bills for my husband.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when everyone is home and chatting how their day went. This gives me a sense of living.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i will be helped. This money will help me buy land to farm in so that my children have enough food to feed on, cater for my children's school requirements and buy livestock as security for the future.
