How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The last four months my life has been different in that I have been able to pay school fees arrears for my children in time. This was a great step in my life because I only used to pay their arrears when my children were sent home. This is because my income could not meet our needs and spare some to pay their fees. GD transfers have helped reduce most of my needs and I was able to pay their fees in time. Since the year began, they have not been sent home for the same.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I have a new goal of putting up a new house. Since my house burnt down two years ago, I have not been able to put up a house. I plan to buy building materials with these transfers so that I can build a house for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been having a sardines business which has been my main source of income for the last three years. My whole family and their needs were all dependants on the income from the business. Due to many needs from the family, the business had started scaling down because I was not boosting it in any way. I was afraid I will soon lose the business. I used the transfers to boost my business by adding more stock to the business to increase my profits. I am glad the business is now doing quite well and profit margin has increased.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will have built a house for my family. I plan to save my transfers so that I can buy building materials. In the next six months, I will have managed to put up a new house for my family courtesy of GD transfers.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I can afford to earn money monthly to buy food easily as I can add the transfer to my income and spend it on food throughout the month. I also managed to buy the building materials like iron sheets and poles that I plan to use in building a bigger house that will comfortably accommodate my large family.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I plan to save and furnish my house by buying furniture and other household items to beautify my house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life right now is that I have been able to buy building materials that I still plan to use in building a new house. I have a house that is so small that can hardly accommodate my large family. I still look forward to having a very big house to comfortably accommodate my growing family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I plan to build a new house that will see my family live in a bigger house. I also expect to save more and buy furniture and other household items to beautify my house. I believe my home will be the envy of the entire village when I shall have finished building it.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
With GD transfers, I have been able to pay a major part of my daughter's fees balance. She used to be sent home because I was not able to pay school fees since the little income from casual work was not enough to feed the family, buy household items and pay school fees for her. After I started receiving the transfers, I have been able to pay her fees on monthly basis, which has been a relief on me. I feel I have found the solution to all my problems with the transfers.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months, I would want to buy household items such as seats, utensils and new bedding. After my house got burnt, life has been a struggle since everything got burnt in the house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have building materials such as iron sheets and nails which I want to use in building a new house. The house I have been living in is small after my main house got burnt. I have been struggling to raise money to build a new house through casual work but it has not been possible due to my low income. With GD transfers, I have been able to buy iron sheets and nails which I will use in building a house of my preference. I would not want to struggle as I have in the past.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I would want to buy hybrid seeds and fertilizers which I will use on my farm. When I get a good harvest, I will sell some money to raise money to buy household items and pay fees for my daughter.
