How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have no new goals
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly did well in giving us free cash which has enabled me to build a decent house. There is nothing that you did not do well
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have bought 3000 bricks, 2 doors, door and window frames, 2 bags of fertilizer and 4 bags of maize.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have bricks that i wanted to build a house but i couldn't due to lack of money, since i dont have a husband i depend on piece of work to have money which cost to 20000 kwacha per month if i am luck that month which is very little to be able to build a house. I real want a house because the one i have is very small, one of my children sleeps on the living room. I will also buy food since i did not harvest due to lack of fertiliser so i will buy food for myself and my children and i also i need to have a good sleepinfg place to avoid some of the illnesses like flue and coughs that comes due to dusty sleeping place
What is the happiest part of your day?
For the past months i was able to provide for my family since i was able to secure some piece of work in a mumber of fields and that brought joy to me i think for the past six months i was able to make close to 75000 kwacha from casual labour and that was a success to me
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Lack of income to look after my needs. For me to have money i need to look for casual labour which is once or twice a month and it brings not more than 20000 kwacha which is not even enough to cover for the basic needs
