My life is currently different from how it was before I started receiving my transfers in that, I used to depend on handouts to earn a living. This only helped me to buy a few household items. On some occasions, I went without food for more than two days. Now, meals are no longer my worry because I budget for my meals on a monthly plan. This to me is a dream come true.

I currently do not have any new goals to pursue but adding to the number of poultry that I have to increase production and grow the business.

In the past four months, I have majorly been using my transfers to purchase food for my household members in preparation for the approaching dry season. I have bought bags of maize flour which can also be sold to earn income. This will enable me to go through the dry season with less burden.

In the next six months, I am hoping to have purchased more poultry and increased their numbers. I also expect to have enough food in store for both my basic consumption and retail for income generation.

My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because l have manage to improve my cattle keeping by buying more cattle and very soon I am planning to sell them and spend the money to buy dairy cow which will be more profitable.

My new goal is to start business of selling cereals to boost my source of income. This will enable me to achieve most of my dreams like buying more cattle. I thought of this business because in the look of things, this season there will be no good harvest and there will starvation in that the business selling maize will really do well.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that l have manage to start cattle keeping since I am planning to sell them in future and spend the money to buy dairy cow being that I have been longing to have the cow that belongs to me which I have control over it. I am sure when I manage to buy the dairy cow I will get more profit out of it because I will be getting milk from it for my consumption and also to sell and get money for my daily up keep.

In the next six months l expect to have started the business of selling cereals and getting enough to save for my future investment like buying dairy cow.

Apart from having a business, I have a goat. It has been my dream to own at least one type of livestock. This has not been possible because of my low income from farming. I believe with any livestock, you can be able to sell it and raise money to solve other family needs. It can also reproduce and gives a large number which is a source of investment for my family and also as a remembrance of GD. My life has never been the same as when I had not received transfers from GD.

In the next four months, I wish to plaster my house. My house is getting old and I do not have any plans for building a new one hence I want to plaster the house to make it strong and durable to serve me for as long as I live.

The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have a cloth business. I had wished to have a business of my own but because of my low income from my farm, I was not able to. I used to depend on my farm for all my needs by selling part of my harvest to raise money to solve other needs. Life was not easy because I had to wait until the next harvest to get money to pay school fees. Ever since I started receiving the transfers, life has been easy on me. With the business, I have always had an income which helps me to sustain my family needs and I do not struggle anymore as I used.

In the six months, I would want to buy a cow. This is because I know with this, my family will be elevated from poverty which has been our burden since I got married. I would want to change the story of my life with GD transfers. I would not want to go back to where I was before the transfers.

My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because l can eat what l want without too much stress being that l am getting enough money from my business.

My new goal is to buy dairy cow, to avoid spending a lot of money to buy milk from my neighbors.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that l manage to boost my business and it is now doing well, l can get enough profit to sustain me.

In the next six months l expect to have bought a cow.
