Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to continue working hard to improve our general welfare as a family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now live in a nice house with comfortable chairs. This was previously not the case we only lived in a small house that acted as both the kitchen and living room. This was quite a challenge as it was quite congested. I am also happy I no longer buy milk which I used to do before I bought a cow. We used to spend so much money to buy milk and this drained us financially. I am happy that apart from what we save from what we would otherwise buy the milk, we get an income from the sale of excess milk from the cow.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the future is to ensure that I grow financially. This is to ensure that I am in a better position as the head of the family to better look after my family. This will be achieved by working hard both on the farm and other jobs such as casual and manual jobs.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The most outstanding thing in my life is that now I have a cow which I spent most of my free tie looking after the cow. If not with GD I believe I would still be wasting most of my time with the rest of my peers idling around shopping center.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months I would expect to have built a house and prepare part of my ,land in readiness for tea planting. I believe when I get my next transfer I will send on constructing a house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Currently I have a cow which I didn't had before. Again I am working on my tea nursery which I started with part of GD cash which I had received.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My new goal is to built ,a house so that we can have a secure and better house to live. We currently have only one house which is very small and its not enough for my growing family.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in life is lack of enough money to start a business. My desire was to start a business of buying and selling goat but due to lack of capital, I have not fulfilled it.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning after seeing a new day, healthy and ready to work in my farm.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on building a new house since the one we are living is small.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is the fact that I managed to build a small house and started my own family. Nothing makes me feel like a man than depending on myself. In 2013, I was given a small piece of land by my parents and through my savings working as a casual labourer, I managed to move from home and started my own family.
