What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Financial freedom is what receiving this money means to me. I solely depend on fishing to earn a living and recently my income has been affected by the rains and reduced a lot. I plan on purchasing ten goats after losing some to drought. This will enable me to have an alternative source of livelihood when another one is down. I also want to renovate my house and this makes me happier considering my life is going to change.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happy because I am in good health. This gives me the energy to go about my normal business and make my life better. I keep praying to God that I remain healthy for the rest of my life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am a fisherman and for the longest time I have been using a hand made canoe to fish. Recently, the water levels in the lake have risen making it difficult to manuvour hence a reduction in the quantity. Also, getting raw materials for making a bigger one has been hindered by floods. This has greatly reduced the amount of money I earn hence hindering my plans.
