How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Many thanks to givedirectly for their support to was my family and me. I am so happy that I was enrolled on this program. I am a farmer. I have a small coco farm in my village where I worked and sale the coco for living. But my income was still low to support my family. When givedirectly came in and registered me, my life began to changed. I am now building a new house in my village with givedirectly money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion givedirectly did very well in my life and that of my village. givedirectly was able to enrolled almost the entire village. That I am proud of today. There are so many New houses with in my village. That I am also proud of. Givedirectly has changed my life
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was able to spend my transfer on buying two bundles zine. I bought enough Food for my children. I used parts of the my transfer to buy additional building materials.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the first transfer message, I became extremely happy because from the beginning it was seen impossible to me. I'm a carpenter by profession but I currently face a condition of low vision; as the result, I do not do carpentry work again and my family and I live on the little coco I planted. As I receive Give Directly's cash grant, I intend to build additional house for my family because the current house can't accommodate my family size. This situation is thereby making more family members sleeping in a little room. Meanwhile, building additional house will ease this difficulty on my family in the near future.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest change the program is making in my family life is, we will soon have a new house with more spaces for better living.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With the first transfer received, I purchased zinc to build additional house for my family. And the balance transfers will be used to purchase additional materials and pay workmanship.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Upon receiving this grant, I will use portion of the money to build myself a dwelling house because the one I am living in presently is not conducive to the extend when the rain fall, it drop in the house. Another portion of the money will be use on medical bill because I am sick and do not have any one to send me to hospital. The last portion will be use on food because I do not have the strength to continue making farm.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What brought me happiness in the last six months, was that I am counted among the living. So many people had lost their lives and I am living so I excited.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges I am facing is the issues of dwelling place. The house I am sleeping in presently is leaking.
