How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
What I hope yo accomplish in the near future is to see my house having a face-lift. I hope to have ceiling in my house and also a paved floor and smooth walls. This will make my family fulfilled and happy. The community leaders will look up to us to host strangers who come in our town.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The money we are receiving from GiveDirectly has changed our living conditions. Some people built houses but never had money to plaster it, others did not have a good dwelling place but now GiveDirectly has made many of us to improve our houses while others are building new homes. I hope GiveDirectly could do better by giving us another gift which will be a continuation of the current good they are doing for us.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My husband and I have decided to buy 10 bags of cement to plaster our house. We've also decided to spend LD$8,000 on sand for the same house plastering. The house needs to be in good condition and look presentable that's why we've decided on spending our transfer that way. Anyone with a beautiful home attracts eyes and gain respect and pride. We want to be respected in our community.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
In the coming years, I hope to see massive growth in my business. It is my prayer everyday that my goods should sell and bring me more profit. There are other dreams I hope to accomplish, like building a house in our city Fishtown; but all that depends on the growth of my business. My children's graduating from high school is also something I am looking forward to in the near future; this will make me the happiest mother in this world.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The best organization I have ever heard of is GiveDirectly; they are very different and unique in all their doings. They have done very well by giving us direct cash to make our lives better based on our own choices. They have changed so many lives in our Country Liberia. GiveDirectly brought happiness right to our doorsteps. I have not heard or seen any bad deed attached to these wonderful people. I love GiveDirectly so much!
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
More than half of my transfer was used to purchase assorted goods for my new business. Some of the things I procured include but not limited to fish, non alcoholic drinks, fufu, etc. Business is very important in a man's life, because it grows money and sustains you once it is done well. This is the reason why I spent my transfer in opening a new business to help my money grow and take care of my needs even after GiveDirectly is gone. I also used 10 thousand Liberian Dollars to pay my two girls school fees in Harper City, Maryland County. My oldest daughter is 16 years old attending Dominion Institute whilst my younger daughter is 14 years attending Fatima High school in Harper; both in 8th grade. My children will be the reflection of GiveDirectly after they graduate from high school; I will boast of GiveDirectly being the support system of my children's education because without them, my kids would be sitting at home by now. I spent my GiveDirectly money on their tuition due to the fact that they will improve my life and theirs once they are educated.
