What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive this cash transfer I will use the money to support my children in school which will bring I'm so much joy. Am engaged in farming as means to maintain my family. The money I earn from the cassava and rice farm, I use to pay my children's tuition and use the balance to cater for other needs. My daughter was promoted to the eleven grade class which im happy about but I'm worried about her tuition for next year because the farm we make this year didn't produce due to the sun rate and I doesn't have any means of getting money from anywhere to pay her tuition. The other children are living with some of my relatives and they are paying their tuition. I will be glad if I can receive any help from GiveDirectly to enable me to pay my daughter's tuition for this coming school year and plaster the house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, what has brought me joy is being alive and healthy with my family although things are difficult but I'm thankful to God for the life of my family and me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I'm facing a lot of challenges but most of all our money. Even though am engaged in farming activities for the past ten years now as means to maintain the family, the money I earn from the cassava and rice farm at times can be 6,000 Liberian dollars after every two months and I use a portion to pay the children tuition and use the balance to cater for other needs. My daughter was promoted to the eleven-grade class which I'm happy about but I'm worried about her tuition for the next year because the farm we make this year didn't produce due to the sun rate and I doesn't have any means of getting money from anywhere to pay her tuition. I will appreciate any help from GiveDirectly to improve my livelihood.
