How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Currently, I am happy because I have owned some animals that I had never owned before. Previously I did not have any personal animal that would act as a saving.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well through giving cash transfers directly to the poor. I have not seen any thing that GiveDirectly has failed to do.

I spent my cash transfer worth UGX 1632000 for buying food, hired land, feeding and paying medical bills.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I am now able to manage my medical condition.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my first cash transfer, I felt so excited.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first cash transfer worth 1,700,000ugx, I bought a mattress and bedsheets worth 120,000ugx in order to improve on my living conditions, I bought a bull worth 900,000ugx to support me in opening up land for cultivation, bought a bag of ground nuts worth 70,000ugx since I had not cultivated during the first rains. The balance of 610,000ugx, I am using for treatment since I have a gynochological problem that has persisted for long.

Receiving this money means building a residential house (iron roofed)and beddings for myself.
