How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because Give Directly money has enabled me to take all my children to school which I would not have managed this year.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly did well to give me money directly, I have nothing to say that they do not do well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent UGX 1,500,000 of my second transfer for paying school fees for my three children. I used UGX 100,000 for buying groundnut seeds, UGX 33,000 was spent on food.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that, our standard of living has improved.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my cash transfer, I felt so happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
Wen I received my first cash transfer worth 1,700,000ugx, I paid tuition for my children worth 900,000ugx. I then bought a mattress of 250,000ugx, a blanket and bedsheets costed 150,000ugx in order to improve on my living standards. I bought a food basket of 15,000ugx, clothes of 10,000ugx and the balance of 375,000ugx, I have started a small business.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to educate my children. This transfers I will use for paying my children's school fees studying in Ngora high school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest moments comes in the morning when I wake up healthy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of enough money for paying my children's school fees.
