I was transporting passengers on the motorbike when I received the message on my phone. I didn't know it was Givedirectly that sent the message until the next morning when I woke up from bed I read the message. I was so happy about the money, I began to retrospect on all the suffering I go through during the rainy season running transport motorbike for my neighbour. whenever I have a break down he will demand that I cover up for the lost day. This money brought so much joy and happiness to me.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Being a student and a parent of a child is a harder situation that I realized after I fathered a child at my very youngest age . I have to complete my high school and take care of the child and his mother at the same time . A situation that has delayed my schooling up to now that I have not graduated from high school. I have planned to involve in a Cocoa farming that I have started a year ago to be able to gather some cash for my family to continue my school. If I am opportune to receive the unconditional cash transfer from GiveDirectly I will be able to realize some of my dreams .
What is the happiest part of your day?
Now that I have established a Cocoa farm, I am hopeful that situation will get better for my family and I. A condition that has brought smile on my face as I think about the cultivation of my farm in few years to continue my education.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have been so stressful, the situation that I personally opened for myself some years ago thereby pregnanting a girl that turned out my spouse. I have to take care of my family of a child and mother including myself at a very young age and continue my school. These processes were very challenging that I have to drop from school. Since I farthered a child, things have been so challenging to me as a father. It is now that I was able to strart a Cocoa farm that I believe will rescue me in few years .
