How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved because I have acquired livestock which I'm planning to use for marrying my wife. I'm now sure of having companion to support me with work like farming and building a family. In past, I had no capacity to marry that meant that I did farming a lone and had no one to share development ideas with.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well by giving me money which has enabled me to reduce some of the burdens I had like addressing. Before these cash transfers, I desired to marry but could not because there was nothing to present to the in-laws. Now that I have acquired the Livestock, my desire is going to be fulfilled. In my community, GiveDirectly has supported people to build permanent houses. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought Livestock ( cow), build materials ( 15 bags of cement), clothing and gifts.
