How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
For a very long time I had been wishing to acquire tools for my furniture workshop. The cash transfers revitalized my business and I am happy that I am self independent. Previously, I could not afford clothes nor afford tools for my workshop. I am grateful to GiveDirectly for changing my life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I like the fact GiveDirectly supports all the people. They do not encourage nepotism or bribery.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the second cash transfer to purchase bricks and workshop tools. I also bought a radio and bedding.
