How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Firstly I just want to say thank you to givedirectly for their support. I am so happy that I was enrolled on this program. Givedirectly has changed my entire life. I was just a poor farmer working on people farmer for living. But when givedirectly enrolled me and starting giving me money, I stop working on people farmer. I try to make my own farm and build a new house in my village. I am planning to start a small business for my family. That's my new goal.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion givedirectly did very well in my life and that of my village. Givedirectly has done so much for me. Givedirectly was able to enrolled almost the entire village. There are so many New houses with in my village that I am proud of today. Many thanks to givedirectly for their support.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am planning to buy additional two bundles of zinc for my building project. I also bought enough Food for my family. I used part of my last money to paid the workmanship for the project.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very excited when I received my recent transfer from GiveDirectly. I felt so happy. I even wanted write a letter of appreciation to GiveDirectly for helping me with this unconditional cash. I am a local church pastor and I and my family have been sustaining by the little compensation from the church. Things got so difficult on me till I had to start a contract as Community Health Assistance just to sustain my family and I. My two children were graduating and my wife has been sick, I never had a cent to pay their graduation fees and pay my wife's health expenses. However,with this great cash transfer received from GiveDirectly,all my problems have been solved.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life have been relieved since I encountered GD. I was worried about my children graduation fees and my wife's illness but GiveDirectly gave me money to settle all my problems. They have done very well for me. I'm now relaxed. My children were able to graduate because of the financial assistance given me. My family and l still have life to live. I also signed a contract with the counties health team as a community health assistant. So that brought joy and happiness to me.
