Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to add more building materials and put up a new home in my own compound where I will be free to do my developments. I will also be staying in a nice spacious comfortable house since I am currently staying in a very small uncomfortable house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that since I started receiving cash transfer from give directly I am able to buy whatever I feel like buying without depending on anybody, since I have my own money. I am also able to work on my farm with alot of energy since I am able to get enough food to feed my family as compared to before when I was going to the farm and coming there was nothing to feed on. I am also happy because I have managed to start livestock farming for my future use most so to support my children through education in future.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I had a small table which was placed at the centre of the house and it was tough sharing meals from the same table due to my large family. Some of my children were forced to sit on the floor during meal times because they would fight over space at the table, especially my twins who fight over everything. Recently, I purchased a larger table where all of us can now comfortably eat without having to turn mealtimes into a chaotic moment.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have plans of starting a greengrocer business within the next few months so that I can have a continuous source of income after the transfers are over to avoid misery and stress. I do not have a stable source of income and mostly depend on casual jobs that are usually very unreliable and GD transfers have always made my life bearable because whenever I receive them, I am able to take care of the most crucial needs of my family even in the absence of the jobs.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
My daily life in the past four months has been much more bearable with the help of the transfers that enabled me to comfortably go through the tough famine and drought season that was just witnessed. I mostly depend on casual jobs that were not quite available during that period because most people had no money to hire labourers. My life would have been much worse if I was not receiving GD transfers because then, I would not have any other way to provide for my family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I hope that in the next six months, the business I am currently planning to set up will be up and running. I want it to be so stable that when the time comes for the transfers to stop, I will not feel the pinch as I will have an extra source of income to supplement the casual jobs I currently depend on.
