How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have a lot of happiness in my life because of these transfers. These money has enabled me construct a house even though I was supposed to go for a medical operation which I denounced in Jesus's name in order for me to build my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly did well to go around the village door to door enrolling people into the program, Sensitizing people about the transfers giving them options on how to spend their transfers by themselves. So for me I chose to construct a house. Everything went well on my side and everyone is happy and wishing Give Directly could return to the village and enroll us once again.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfer on buying building materials e.g. Doors, windows, Iron sheets, Cement, Nails and Timber @ Ugx 800000. Maize @ Ugx 100000 and Saved ugx 433000 that will be used for roofing and plastering the house.
