How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goal I have set before receiving this transfer to finish my building process. I am planning to plaster my house with mud concrete cement.I have been living in an old thacth house in this village. It is through Givedirectly that I am presently renovating my house to zinc. Thanks to Givedirectly for the kind gesture. I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my dream to live in decent house will soon come to pass.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly did well for us in this village. Through Givedirectly cash supports, many recipients who couldnot afford money to build new houses are now empowered financially to start building new houses. Givedirectly distributed freed phones to everyone in this village. Thanks to Givedirectly for making everyone to be awared of mobile money usage in this village. There is no system in GiveDirectly that needs improvement.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have not spend my most recent transfer. I am saving my transfer to hire cashual workers who will plaster my house immediately . I want to buy 10 bags of cements to plaster my house. I want to sell planks inorder to generate more profits to continue with my house renovations process. I am currently renovating my old house because it is old . I spent my most recent transfer to buy one tin of gasoline to fuel generator inorder to hire power saw operator to saw planks for me to sell. I want to saw 50 pieces of planks for sell. My current house is completely damaged. I am using my transfers from Givedirectly to renovate my damage house that I am staying . How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new plan is to complete with my house . I just paid by children tuition and bought some provisions for the house. I also paid some gentlemen to build my house.with this transfer I'm about to compete my house and my children are in school.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly is doing a good job of for me and the poor people. I also really going through it because life was so difficult for me. I'm about to have a new house and my children are how in school.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was going on my farm early morning when I heard people shouting that givedirectly has sent our money. I stopped and when at the network areas to check if I have received mine, luckily for me I saw a huge amount of money in it. I was so happy and rejoicing that day. I was happy because I haven't seen any organization to give money for free without paying back. Before than my plan was to be a big business women. But I'm a farmer and my income was very low to accomplish my plan, so I has to struggle and work very on my farm just to feel my family and send my children to school. Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life now is I'm able to provide for my family now. My children are all healthy and in school all because of givedirectly support. I'm so thankful to GiveDirectly for making my dream come to passed.

When I withdraw my money I was able to paid my children school fees. I used part of my transfer to buy enough foodstuff for my family. I'm saving the balance money to make business in my village.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"My household have been sleeping in a single room which I build since 2009 and it's very small, when I received my transfer from GiveDirectly, I will use portion of it to build a big house, and portion of it will be used to send my children to school and at the same time invest in a small business that could serve as a source of income to cater to my household needs".
What is the happiest part of your day?

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The major challenge I'm facing now is lack of finance. My household is involved into casual labor, my husband can haul people's plank and the little money received is what we can use to get daily meals ".
