Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I have purchased oxen which will now be ploughing my land in time. Prior to receiving the money, I used to send my children to offer labor on other people's farms in exchange of oxen. To make matters worse, their efforts in most cases were fruitless because we could be given oxen when it is past the ploughing season.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer, I shivered because of excitement, I had never got that much money. After some time I settled down with my heart filled with joy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used my first transfer for buying 2 oxen at UGX 1,300,000, utensils and a mattress. I have saved UGX 300,000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Having a comfortable accommodation wi be the meaning of receiving this money. I will build a two roomed iron roofed house that I will stay in with my young children. Being a widow, it is very difficult and expensive to buy grass every year to renovate avgrass thatched house, an iron roofed house is the only solution.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is at around 2:00pm when I have completed garden work and preparing food for my children. I seat with them and tell stories on how the day went, that makes me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship in my life is lack of necessities to make life enjoyable. Necessities like food, medication, education, are among the many I lack. This is caused by lack of a reliable source of income that is capable of solving most of the problems.
