How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have completed building my new house. This has been my new goal since I started receiving my transfer from Givedirectly. I am now glad about everything
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly had done well in helping us to creat a future for our children. Some of us were hopeless and couldn't even afford school fees for our kids. Givedirectly is doing well in everything. I am even hoping they can return.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My most recent was used to sew planks for doors for the house. I have already paid the workmanship and shortly the work is expected to begin

What does receiving this money mean to you?
As an uneducated woman who largely depend on the forest for survivors, educating my children is my key priority. I feel sometimes discourage because I am uneducated, and this is the cause my children and I are living in such a remote environment. I believe when they are educated, my future will not be in this bush, so I have planned to use my transfer towards my children's education. Though, I have 4 children, one is living with my anty in Fish Town, the remaining three are here with me and I am the only person responsible for them. I will be very happy if I am eligible to receive cash grant from GiveDirectly because it will help with my children's education.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My most happy day is today because God kept me at life to see a very transparent NGO, called GiveDirectly to come to this town to promised that they will transfer cash grant to us through Mobile Money. I am especially happy because this cash is unconditional, so I can use it to improve my kids school life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently, providing for my children school needs is my major challenge because of no finance. There is no permanent source of income for my household, my spouse occasionally go to the Gold mine to do some labor work before we can get money. I will be very happy if I am eligible for this GiveDirectly program so I can be able to cater to my children school needs because my main challenge now is how to get finance to support their education.
