How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new plan is starting a coal business, buying and selling coal. I believe that the coal business will enable me to maintain my own cash even when GiveDirectly is no longer giving us help. And I can save to buy my land.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing well by giving people money to do what they can do inorder for them to help themselves. But for what they are not doing well, I haven't discovered yet.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent most of my recent transfer on my children's education and buying coal bags for my new business.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
" By the grace of God, if I'm qualified to receive this grant, my wife and I will start the construction of our dwelling place. The house we currently live in is an inherited house, where we don't have that absolute privacy. Secondly, I plan to invest in my wife's education (Vocational)."
What is the happiest part of your day?
" Since my wife and I met, we have not been able to have a kid of our own, as God could have it, she conceived recently and we are expecting a male child."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
" Currently in our village, there is only one high school which is unable to accommodate all of the students hailing from here. As a result of this, I sent three of my children Monrovia to live with my sister. Earning money for their upkeep and tuition is a major challenge for me."
