Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy the moment i received the money because i i did not have food at the moment and i used the money to buy food. In addition to that, i used to live in a grass thatched house and it was always problematic during rainy seasons because my house could leak and i did not find my sleep peaceful. As soon as i got the money i bought Iron sheets which i put on my roof and my house is no longer leaking. Nowadays my sleep is sweet and i am happy
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I am able to eat now because i have food which i bought using my transfer. My sleep is now sweet because i do not have to worry about a leaking roof like before because my house has Iron sheet roof now. And in addition to all this, i am able to take care of my children well, a thing which i was not able to do in the past because of lack of money. I can buy them soap to bath and wash their clothes to go to school looking neat and smart, my life has really changed.
